Such information may include contact information, voter-related information, demographic or geographic information, and publicly available information.
A mobile phone number obtained from a voter file, public record, data provider, or other third-party source is not treated as consent to receive recurring SMS or MMS messages from the Campaign.

SMS and MMS Text Messaging
How SMS Consent Is Collected
Individuals may opt in to receive SMS or MMS messages from the Campaign by voluntarily submitting their mobile phone number through a Campaign website or other approved opt-in method and affirmatively agreeing to receive text messages.
SMS consent is separate from information obtained through voter files, publicly available records, data providers, or other third-party sources.
The Campaign does not treat possession of a mobile phone number from a voter file or other third-party source as SMS consent.
When you affirmatively opt in to the Campaign's messaging program, we may send recurring campaign-related text messages, including:
- Campaign news and updates;
- Election and voting information;
- Event information;
- Volunteer opportunities;
- Calls to action;
- Fundraising messages; and
- Other campaign communications consistent with your consent.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
Consent to receive text messages is voluntary and is not a condition of making a contribution, purchasing merchandise, volunteering, or otherwise interacting with the Campaign.
Mobile Information and Messaging Consent
We do not sell, rent, share, or provide your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in information, or SMS messaging consent to third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
SMS consent provided to the Jamie Davis for U.S. Senate Campaign is specific to communications from or on behalf of the Campaign and is not sold, transferred, or provided to another organization so that organization may independently market or promote its products, services, causes, or communications.
Messaging Service Providers
The Campaign uses service providers, including messaging platforms such as CallHub and/or Twilio, to transmit, manage, and support Campaign text messages.
These providers may process your mobile phone number and messaging-related information solely as necessary to provide messaging services on behalf of the Campaign.
Providing information to a service provider for this limited operational purpose does not authorize that provider to use your SMS opt-in information or messaging consent for its own independent marketing or promotional purposes.
The protections for mobile information and SMS consent described in this section apply notwithstanding any other disclosure provision in this Privacy Policy.
Opting Out
You may opt out of Campaign text messages at any time by replying STOP.
After opting out, you may receive a final confirmation message. You will not receive further messages from that messaging program unless you subsequently opt in again.
For assistance, reply HELP or contact us at info@jamieforlouisiana.com.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Disclosure of Information
Except as specifically limited with respect to mobile information and SMS messaging consent above, we may disclose personal information as follows.

- Website hosting;

- Payment and contribution processing;
- Analytics;
- Security services;
- Campaign operations; and
- Other technical or administrative services.
Service providers may process information only as appropriate to perform services on behalf of the Campaign and subject to applicable contractual and legal requirements.
This general service-provider provision does not permit SMS opt-in information or SMS consent to be used or disclosed for third-party or affiliate marketing or promotional purposes.
Legal and Compliance Purposes
We may disclose information as required or permitted by law, including to:
- Comply with federal, state, or local laws;
- Satisfy campaign finance reporting requirements;
- Respond to lawful legal process;
- Protect the rights, security, property, or safety of the Campaign or others;

At Your Direction
We may disclose information when you explicitly direct or authorize us to do so.
Such authorization regarding other information does not automatically transfer or extend your SMS messaging consent to another organization.
Contributions and ActBlue
The Campaign may use or link to third-party fundraising platforms, including ActBlue.
When you click a contribution link and provide information directly through ActBlue or another fundraising platform, the information you submit is collected and processed through that third-party platform and is subject to its own privacy policy and terms.
The Campaign may receive contribution and supporter information from fundraising platforms as necessary for campaign operations, compliance, and reporting.
Providing information directly to ActBlue does not transfer SMS consent you provided to the Campaign for use by ActBlue or another organization for independent marketing or promotional purposes.
Digital Advertising and Analytics
The Campaign may use digital advertising, analytics, and campaign technology services to measure communications, understand campaign engagement, and reach audiences with campaign-related content.
Where lawful and appropriate, information other than SMS opt-in data or SMS messaging consent may be used in connection with these activities.
We do not provide SMS opt-in information or SMS messaging consent to advertising platforms, affiliates, data brokers, or other third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes.
SMS consent is not used as authorization to disclose an individual's mobile information to advertising platforms or other organizations for independent marketing or promotional purposes.
